Woo-hoo!

This is not so much of a blog post rather than a quick notice. Yesterday, it happened. The Federal Reserve finally announced they are lowering the interest rates of the U.S. by 0.5 %. Not just that, but it is anticipated that we might be seeing something similar happening later on as well, maybe even as soon as in November. Maybe not by as much, but the rumours are circulating that a quarter of a percent would not be that far-fetched. This will, of course, help the markets and companies to recover and the people to find jobs once more. The question becomes, what will happen to the inflation, however?

There were even a few moments of comedy with Jerome Powell answering questions of the press with him remembering to mention that the economy is actually strong and that everything is well. I'm not exactly sure what an average citizen might think of that, but there is certainly a major disconnect from the reality that people are going through in his thoughts.

Nevertheless, expect to see interesting times ahead, for the world reserve currency just got a bit cheaper once again!
